Dear Valued Member of the Hamburg Family Dental Family,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over these past couple of months and we are looking forward to our new normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, we want to assure you that our commitment to you, your health, and your safety have always been our top priorities.
Our office has always followed infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We will continue to closely monitor the ever changing situation regarding COVID-19 while continuing to adhere to the standard universal precautions and follow any further protocols and recommendations from our public health officials or any of the organizations mentioned previously. At Hamburg Family Dental, we have instilled a more stringent infection control process so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable for all parties involved.
You may see some changes when it is time for you to honor your next reservation. We made these
changes to help protect our patients and team. These include:
- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You may be
asked to fill out and sign the online consent form prior to every reservation and/or be asked those
same questions again while you are in the office. - We ask that you contact the office via text/call upon your arrival as we are no longer using the
reception area. Please make no attempts to try to enter the office without notifying us. - Your reservation will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might
mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment and we apologize for any
inconvenience. - Per the ordinance issued by the Governor, you may be asked to wear a mask prior to entering the
building altogether. We ask that you continue to wear your mask until a member from the
Hamburg Family Dental asks you to remove it. - We may take your temperature prior to your entrance into the building. Please understand that
any indication of a fever may result in seeking care from a primary care physician immediately. - Once inside the office, we may ask you to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water, and
perform pre-procedural rinses prior to your treatment. - You may notice an air purifying system in your treatment room when you visit us to honor your
reservation.
We know we will get through this together and we are here to answer any questions you may have about
the steps we take to keep you, and every patient and team member, safe in our practice. To make a
